Overview
Please note! This ad is intended only for those who are located in Mindanao, or can commute daily to Cagayan de Oro City (CDO) OR those who are willing to move to CDO within a year. Most of our awesome team is located there and we will soon have a Philippine company with an office in CDO.
All of OptiDig’s staff are nerds in one way or the other. We love being nerds and our customers love our nerd status too, simply because they know that we excel in whatever we are doing. To our marketing group we are now looking for one more nerd, a digital marketing nerd, to join us.
Job responsibilities
- Marketing analysis from a digital perspective
- Keyword analysis
- Competitor analysis
- Ensure that our sales site(s) are updated and fully SEO optimized
- Create and maintain digital marketing campaigns in social media (organic and paid-for), banner campaigns, SEM etc
- Create and develop email marketing campaigns
- Take part in the requirements processes with the goal of further enhancing our in-house developed hosted solutions
- Think of and further develop our activities in the digital marketing field
- Pulling navel lint while doing nothing but thinking about how the company should evolve on the digital marketing arena in order to maintain our profile as bleeding edge experts in this field
- Interface with staff within development, IT Ops, product management, marketing, sales and support.
Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English), standout as the natural expert in your field, experienced in different relevant key metrics for buying traffic, be able to discuss and reasoning about how underlying behavioural factors might affect traffic channels and media buys, be able to reason about demographics as a means to design websites to make them optimal from a digital marketing and conversion perspective. Possess the latest skills in SEO, both offline and online, and be able to discuss and reasoning about why certain methodologies and tools either are, or are not, to be used in certain contexts. Experienced in how to reach both B2C and B2B customers.
Experiences from being a consultant in a leading digital agency might be considered a plus. If you are experienced with strategy development this will be considered a plus.

We are already on the bleeding edge within digital marketing, so if you don’t have extensive skills and experiences in this field, then please do not apply. Oh, and by the way, the job title will not be Digital Marketing Nerd, but Digital Marketing Specialist (although we are not that fond of titles here).

Hiring Process
Applicants for this position can expect the hiring process to follow the order below. Please keep in mind that applicants can be declined from the position at any stage of the process.
- After we receive your application, we will respond within a couple of days.
- Qualified applicants will receive a message for an interview invitation to schedule a 45-60 minute Skype screening call with the recruiting manager
- There will be a second and possibly a third interview, the latter with our CEO. We are very focused on getting the right person in.
- After the last interview, applicants will wait at most 3 days for feedback whether they’re successful or not.
- Successful candidates will subsequently be given an offer.
